$15.5m to resettle refugees in Cambodia

Australia will spend $15.5 million resettling refugees in Cambodia.

A Senate committee on Tuesday was told the cash comes on top of the $40 million in aid offered to Cambodia as an incentive to accept refugees now in Nauru.

The first batch of four refugees are in Darwin awaiting clearance to fly to Cambodia for resettlement after Phnom Penh approved their applications late last week.
