Boy, 14, charged over serious Sydney crash

A 14-year-old boy will face court next month after being charged over a serious head-on crash in Sydney’s west last week.
Six people were injured when a sedan and a ute collided in Werrington on Thursday October 12.
The driver of the ute was trapped for over an hour while emergency services worked to free her.

She and her 16-year-old passenger were taken to hospital, as were four teenagers who were in the sedan.
Today, police arrested a 14-year-old boy and charged him with numerous offences, including three counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving.
He was granted bail and will appear in court next month.
