He knows if you’ve been bad: Zombie Santa scaring the pants of US town

One US man has found an efficient way to re-use decorations after turning his Christmas apparel into something more suited to Halloween.

Caroll Moore has turned his Nashville property into a house of Christmas horrors with Zombie Santa, undead elves and a demonic reindeer, Reuters reported.

"Instead of Christmas cheer, we are spreading some holiday fear," Mr Moore said.

But the macabre decorations aren't just for fun.

Visitors can pay $10 and donate an unwrapped new toy to take a tour through the warehouse, with the toys going to a Christmas charity.

And if you didn't get what you wanted in your stocking last year, you can also take your frustration out on Zombie Santa at the paintball range outside for an extra $5.

Mr Moore said he hoped his Horrific Haunted Holiday house became a holiday tradition.
