Zimbabwean man pulls a massive python out of this car's engine

A family got a huge shock when they discovered a massive African rock python hiding under the bonnet of their car.

The incredible footage posted yesterday shows a man lifting the bonnet to reveal the massive python huddled for warmth near the engine.

While driving through Zimbabwe, the family noticed a strange sound and smell coming their vehicle and decided to investigate.

Rather than call for help, the driver grabs the python by its neck and slowly starts to remove it.

A child in the car, clearly distressed by what's happening can be heard screaming, "That's a rattle snake, daddy don't. Don't put that thing in the car."

With the help of a friend, the driver carries the large snake to the side of the road and quickly drop it before running back to the car.
