Worker disciplined for singing too loudly while gluing

A worker in the US has been disciplined for singing too loudly in the office while gluing things.

The unnamed worker got in trouble for singing "this is how we glue it" – an obvious nod to Montell Jordan's hit 1995 debut track "This Is How We Do it".

A photograph of the official complaint was posted to Reddit by user frappa, who said it was his friend who was reprimanded.

"My buddy got written up at work after some complaints. His supervisor thought it was hilarious though," frappa wrote.

The official letter, dated May 16, states the worker was being disruptive and that they were given a warning.

"Complaints from other employees: (worker's name) is singing loudly "this is how we glue it" at the glueing (sic) station," the details of occurrence reads.

The worker was urged to "be quieter" in the improvement section.

The popular image spurned other Reddit users to post similar occurrences, with one person saying their friend got fired from an inventory job for counting everything like popular Sesame Street character The Count.
