Welsh police slice through door with chainsaw during Cardiff raid

Rather than busting in a door, police in Wales have been filmed using a chainsaw to simply slice through the obstacle.

Footage shows the tactic being used during a raid in Cardiff, with officers firing up the saw and quickly gaining access to a property.

Authorities say using a chainsaw is much quicker than using the traditional battering ram, and allows police to enter buildings within seconds.

Police teams in Cardiff have actually replaced their rams with chainsaws, Wales Online reported.

The filmed raid happened on Wednesday and two people were arrested on suspicion of money laundering, the newspaper reported.
