After months of training a German waiter has pulled off a feat that is sure to win the respect of beer lovers across the globe.

Oliver Struempfel has smashed a world record by carrying 27 full mugs of beer for 40m, BBC reports.

With a look of fierce look of detirmination, Mr Struempfel can be seen carrying the impossibly huge looking armful of mugs without spilling a drop.

Mr Struempfel works at the Gillemoos festival in the Bavarian town of Abensberg, where the record was set.

Together the mugs weigh more than a staggering 60kgs, Mr Struemphel said.

“It is no longer enough to just carry the mugs, you have to support the training by going to the gym,” he said.
