Woman legally changes name to Sexy

Forget about being too sexy for your shirt, what if you felt you were too sexy for your name?

After having to struggle her entire life with the questionably unsexy namesake of 'Shelia Ranea Crabtree' – a US woman has today won the legal right to change her first name to 'Sexy'.

In her application, the 41 year-old Ohio native called her given name "the ugliest one out there", and explained her reasons behind her quest: "I'm a free-spirited person. I like to have a lot of fun and just enjoy my life."

Ms Crabtree told the New York Daily News that she was nervous on her way to the courthouse because she heard judges are not required to grant name-changes.

But Ms Crabtree was in luck because the judge had no problem giving Sexy the green-light.

Ms Crabtree said that her life is now complete.

"That was the last piece I needed for my life to feel complete, kind of like a puzzle," Ms Crabtree said.

"That's all I needed, to get rid of that ugly name — thankfully I'm rid of it for good!"
