US woman fatally shot herself while adjusting bra holster: police

A US woman died after accidentally shooting herself while adjusting a gun holster in her bra.
Police in St Joseph, Michigan, say 55-year-old Christina Bond accidentally shot herself in the eye on New Years Day at her Lake Michigan home.
While detectives are still waiting for the full autopsy report into her death, they released some details to the Kalamazoo Gazette.
"She was having trouble adjusting her bra holster, couldn't get it to fit the way she wanted to," St Joseph Public Safety Director Mark Clapp told the newspaper.
"She was looking down and it accidentally discharged the weapon."
Emergency services were called to Ms Bond's home at 5.10pm on January 1, where they found her with a gunshot wound to the eye before rushing her to Lakeland Hospital.
She was later airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital but died the following day.
