Victim gets revenge on parcel thief with special delivery

An American man repeatedly targeted by a package thief took revenge into his own hands with the help of his dog.

Rather than calling police to help him track down the repeat offender Las Vegas man Eric Burdo called upon his dog, KTNV reports.

Convinced the thief would strike again Mr Burdo scooped up some of his pet's poo, wrapped it up in a neat little package, placed it on his front door step and waited for the bandit to strike.

The Las Vegas resident waited excitedly for three days, regularly checking the security vision from a camera trained on his porch, until on Thursday, he saw what he had waited so long for.

"I just kept replaying it," Mr Burdo said of the vision of the bandit swiftly picking up the special package and making a run for it.

"I just kind of wanted to give him back something," he said.

Mr Burdo said he hopes the thief learns his lesson and doesn't target him anymore.
