US woman kissed baby son before allegedly throwing him off bridge

A woman allegedly kissed her one-month-old baby son before shoving him off a bridge into a river and jumping in after him.

Johnsesha Monae Perry, 19, was charged with murder in Allentown, Pennsylvania after allegedly throwing her son Zymeir Perry off the Hamilton Street Bridge, the Associated Press has reported.

Investigators allege Perry told them she intended for her son to die.

The young boy fell into the Lehigh River. He was pulled out downstream a short time later.

Emergency personnel revived the boy but he was declared brain dead six days later and removed from life support.
