US 'Price is Right' contestant makes cringeworthy blunder

A man has made a cringeworthy blunder on the US version of The Price Is Right after seemingly forgetting his bid less than a minute after placing it.

Four contestants placed bids on an item, with the closest bidder winning $500 and the opportunity to join host Drew Carey on the stage and take part in various games.

The bidding was nothing short of bizarre, with one woman, Melissa, bidding $499 just after another, Linda, bid $500. Another contestant, Vickie, bid just $1.

But it was Adam who stole the show, who bid $550 and then celebrated wildly and attempted to march up on stage after Carey revealed the winner to be Linda.

Linda was forced to push past him, with Adam making his way back to the bidding area, suitably red-faced.
