Police swarm Paramount Pictures in Hollywood after reports of a shooting

Police have swarmed the studio lot of Paramount Pictures in Hollywood following reports of a shooting involving a police officer.
The LAPD's Hollywood Division tweeted that residents should stay away from the area due to "police activity".
American media outlets are reporting having heard over scanners an "officer involved shooting" had taken place.
The incident is taking place in Los Angeles, but the suspect is barricaded inside a film streetscape that replicates New York.
A police helicopter is overhead, with a spotlight trained on one window of a backlot building.
Reporters on the scene report numerous police officers from LAPD on scene.
