US fast food worker shows no emotion while being robbed

A US fast food worker's imperturbable response to a gun toting thief has been caught on CCTV showing him calmly staring down the barrel of a gun.

Security video taken on Wednesday night in Kansas City shows a worker manning a cashier shortly after 9pm when a man in a hoodie approaches the counter.

After a brief exchange of the words the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a handgun.

Whether it was because he noticed the firearm jam as the gunman was chambering a round is unknown, but the cashier appears to show no emotion as the firearm is held to his temple.

The worker takes his time opening the register and even remembers to remove his food serving glove before handling the money.

At the end of the robbery the cashier lifts the till from the register prove it's empty.

Police later arrested and charged 54-year-old Terry Rayford for the crime, KCTV5 reports.
