Topless jogger uses live TV interview to announce that he's single

A US man who appeared on a local news station after he went for a topless jog in pouring rain during winter has been flooded with date requests after he used the interview to announce he was single.

Chicago resident Ethan Renoe, 24, was enjoying the inclement weather on Sunday night (US time) when a raincoat-clad WGN-TV reporter asked him "Dude, where's your shirt?"

"Too wet for a shirt," Mr Renroe said.

"I love running in the rain. And I'm also single, so gimme a shout," he said as he made the "call me" gesture.

And it appears that the bachelor's appeal worked.

Mr Renoe said that by the time he got home from his run around Lake Michigan he already had hundreds of friend requests on Facebook.

It has since been revealed that the self-confessed "porn addict" and bible school graduate remains a virgin and despite seeking a girlfriend has no plans to have sex before marriage.
