Seattle Seahawks star Marshawn Lynch has continued to wage war against the media, fronting the cameras for an obligatory pre-Super Bowl interview only to answer 29 questions with the same answer.

Lynch, whose disdain for the media is well known, had reportedly been threatened with a $500,000 fine by the NFL if he failed to make himself available to journalists.

So he did. Kind of.

Lynch arrived at his designated podium on media day, but before answering a single question, made his intentions clear.

"Yo, I'm just here so I don't get fined," he said.

"So you all can ask me all the questions you all want to, I'm gonna answer with the same answer, you can all shoot if y'all please."

For the next five minutes, more than 200 journalists peppered the Seahawks star with all the ammunition they had only to hear Lynch fire back in kind with variations of "I'm here so I won't get fined."

Ironically, his appearance has easily attracted more attention for the event than it would have otherwise.

At the same media day last year Lynch showed up with a hood over his head, sunglasses on and said: "I'm just 'bout that action, Boss."

Lynch was fined $50,000 in November for violating the league's media policy and told an additional $50,000 fine imposed last season would be collected

.Lynch was also fined $20,000 last week for an obscene gesture after a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.

He'd been fined $11,050 in December for a similar gesture.
