Stunning footage shows stadium skydive

Mesmerising helmet-cam footage has been released showing a team of skydivers parachuting into a packed US sports stadium on Sunday.

The daring stunt posted on Facebook on Monday shows Team Thunderstorm, the "official parachute team" of gridiron side the Denver Broncos, jumping from a plane over the Colorado city.

"Let's get some," one of the jumpers is heard shouting before the group make the leap from a plane.

The video shows a full panoramic view of the city of Denver, with Mile High Stadium below them.

As they glide to the ground they seem to accelerate rapidly just before they hit the ground.

The Denver Broncos went on to win the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, 26-16.

Sunday's win sends the Broncos to the Superbowl, where they will face the Seattle Seahawks.
