Simmons scores Rising Stars win

Ben Simmons has led the World team to a dominant 155-124 victory over the USA in the NBA Rising Stars game.

The Australian didn't win a place in Sunday's All-Star game in Los Angeles, but he proved he was worthy with a 11 points, six rebounds, 13 assists effort in the Rising Stars game featuring the NBA's best rookies and second-year players.

USA and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown had 35 points while Sacramento Kings and world guard Bogdan Bogdanovich, hitting seven of 13 three-point attempts, was named game MVP.
