Risky move backfires for tree lopper

Standing on the very end of a ladder while cutting a massive branch off a tree with a chainsaw without any safety equipment — what could go wrong?

Video shot in the town of Hemlock, Michigan shows a man sawing a branch high up in a tree with his outstretched arms.

"My coworker cuts down a tree and the tree is not very happy about it," YouTube uploaded Kurt Stepp wrote about the victim, who he calls Q-Ball.

The branch begins to fall before it is cut the whole way through, meaning it does not drop directly down.

"911 or not?" the woman filming the video shouts after the man is knocked spectacularly off the ladder.

The branch hit the ground before the would-be lumberjack, but he would still be feeling sore and sorry for himself after his risky move.
