'Pharma bro' heckles Hillary and 'spreads lies' about seeing Clinton on a stretcher

Notorious 'pharma bro' Martin Shkreli has emerged from the depths of Manhattan to heckle a recovering Hillary Clinton following her collapse outside a 9/11 memorial ceremony.

After seeking refuge inside daughter Chelsea's Madison Avenue apartment, Clinton emerged from the building and waved to a large media scrum while Mr Shkreli screamed at her to "drop out".

A determined Shkreli had been curb-side for two hours, broadcasting a live stream on the Periscope app.

He also made several posts to Twitter, telling followers he "enjoyed screaming 'why are you so sick' and 'go Trump'" at Clinton, 68.

Shkreli also used his Twitter account to fight off a torrent of abuse from users who felt he had, yet again, crossed the line of good taste. [Insert Embedded Tweets]

The New York Daily News interviewed Shkreli on the street, where he made several sensational claims over what he had witnessed and knew. The Daily News called out his allegations as "spreading lies".

"Like I said, Chelsea Clinton does not live in that apartment. That apartment is an advanced medical facility," Shkreli told the Daily News.

"I saw her coming out," he added. "No one saw her going in obviously. She was presumably in some kind of stretcher...Nobody saw that. That's my imagination at work."

Earlier, Clinton was filmed appearing to collapse into the arms of her security guards as she left a 9/11 memorial ceremony.

Clinton left the New York ceremony early after feeling "overheated". Her doctor has since advised Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia.

Shkreli rose to infamy as the US pharmaceuticals boss who raised the cost of an AIDS drug by 5000 percent.

In December last year, he resigned as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals following a fraud investigation by the FBI.
