Parents release final wingsuit video

Breathtaking footage of a wingsuit jumper gliding three miles down the Silberhorn mountains has been released in honour of an American base jumper's life.

The parents of Brian Drake, who was killed while attempting to jump from a helicopter in April, agreed that this video should be seen as a reminder of his incredible life.

Shot by Drake on March 14, the video opens with a tribute to Drake from his parents.

"Brian's extraordinary life was one of unshakeable faith, enjoyable abandon, and expressive gratitude. He left an indelible impression on all who knew him."

The video captures New Zealander Dan Vicary plummeting down the Pic De La Grave in the Alps and travelling at 100mph through the mountain supported only by a nylon wingsuit.
