Not even an armed robbery could stop a couple's passionate make-out session

A US couple were too busy staring into each other’s eyes to realise directly behind them the bartender was getting robbed at gunpoint.

The love-struck couple continued kissing, oblivious to a thief as he pointed a weapon towards the Montana bartender and raced behind the counter to unload money from the register.

CCTV footage of the robbery which occurred just after 1am on Monday at Montana's Tap Inn shows two men and a woman wearing bandanas flee the venue with an undisclosed amount of money.

It is only after the thieves have left the scene do the couple realise what's happened.

The footage has garnered almost 10,000 views with most comments focussed on the inattentive couple.

"Guess love do make you blind sometimes," said one commenter.
