NBA star Shaquille O’Neal pulls laughs as he goes inside a video game

US basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal is renowned for his size, but it didn’t stop him from getting deep into a video game – with hilarious consequences.

The retired NBA star, who is part owner of NRG, delved into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ELEAGUE to promote his team competing in an upcoming tournament on May 24.

In a video introducing the ‘Shaq-ified’ gameplay, he says he wanted to get “deep, deep into the game”.

He is then seen shooting with a ‘fish gun’, dancing with a broom, protecting a chicken and attempting to camouflage himself.  

The finals, which begin July 12, will feature eight teams, all vying for US $1.2 million in prize money.
