'Spider-man' apprehended after Trump Tower suction cap climb

The "spider-man" who spent hours scaling Trump Tower using suction caps this morning is in police custody.
The climber was spotted on the 68-storey Manhattan building about 6am (about 4pm local time), with police finally managing to reel him in almost three hours later using a window-washing scaffold.
Police set the trap on the 21st floor and waited for the fellow to reach it.

His progress was roundly mocked by many workers inside the 68-storey tower, who were less than impressed by the sedate pace of his progress.
According to one man who said he was nearby, the fellow said he wanted to climb to the top of the building.
