Man survives bull trampling and continues running

A man has survived being savagely trampled by a raging bull in the US after trying, and failing, to outrun it.

The unnamed victim was filmed running for his life with the bull hot in his heels at the first ever Patriot Bull Run in Idaho on Sunday.

The bull eventually wins the foot race and stomps him into the dirt.

The savage blow didn’t keep the man down, who got up and ran another four heats with the ferocious animal, the East Idaho News reported.

Around 150 people ran in the first-ever event to be held at Idaho Falls and despite the goring the spectacle will be held again next year.

The event included a crowd tomato fight afterwards, with some of the action being shot using a drone.
