US lawyer's Super Bowl ad goes viral

The word "epic" is bandied about too freely these days, but a US lawyer's homemade Super Bowl commercial truly fits the description.

Personal injury lawyer Jamie Casino wrote, directed and starred in the two-minute ad, which aired during the clash between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos — but only in his home state, Georgia.

Despite its limited TV audience, the commercial is gaining worldwide attention via the internet and it's not hard to see why.

In the ad, Mr Casino uses visuals that wouldn't look out of place in a Michael Bay movie to document the real-life story of how he turned around his career after his brother Michael was killed by gunfire in 2012.

According to the lawyer's description of the video, he created it to "set the record straight" on how Savannah police chief Willie Lovett "deceived" citizens in the wake of the murder.

Mr Casino caps off his incredible tale of murder, vengeance and bad cops with a scene depicting him smashing a gravestone with a flaming sledgehammer.

That's one way to grab the attention of potential clients.
