Golf really is a good walk spoiled

Golf players need to be calm and cool because they never know when they might fall into a sand trap or a hole in the floor.

A couple of gentlemen in a golf-pro shop got a pleasant surprise when another man fell politely through the roof.

"Hey, Ron," the man on the lower level of the pro shop said civilly.

"Hey, Billy," said the man lying on the floor in a pile of rubble that fell with him from the ceiling above, just as courteously.

"That hurt," was about all Ron could say while Billy told him to stay still on the ground.

But being golf players, we were expecting Ron to shout "floor" as the ground collapsed underneath him.
