Ghost lover buys haunted house

Zak Bagans really loves ghosts, so much so in fact, that the reality show host has decided to move in with them.

Mr Bagans, who hosts 'Ghost Adventures', has forked out $40,000 for a home in Gary, Indianna, that gained world-wide attention last week after its haunted history was documented by a local newspaper.

The home played host to a number of supernatural occurrences involving Latoya Ammons and her three children and her mother.

The family of five allegedly saw ghosts, heard eerie footsteps and witnessed levitations.

The official report into the haunting even documented an instance where Ms Ammons's nine-year-old son was seen flashing a "weird grin" before "gliding backwards on the floor, wall and ceiling."

Several hospital staff even attested to the legitimacy of the incident.

But Mr Bagans doesn't seem at all bothered by the home's allegedly haunted past. He actually welcomes it.

"I really have a passion for this stuff and the research aspect," Mr Bagan said.

Attempts by Ms Ammons to get help for her family saw police officers, child welfare case workers, psychics and even a Catholic priest come to the home in an effort to fix the problem.

After a series of exorcisms, Ms Ammoms packed up her family and moved to a new home, where she claims the family now feel safe and are no longer plagued by their former demons.
