Fish tank bursts at US restaurant

A massive fish tank at a US Disney restaurant has split, sending water gushing onto diners.

Customers filmed the incredible moment the seal on the tropical aquarium broke at the T-Rex Café in Orlando, Florida, spraying water through the restaurant on Monday night.

"Employees took action and did a great job rescuing all of the marine life, caring for our guests and managing the situation," the restaurant's owners said in a statement to the Orlando Sentinel.

"The marine life has been moved to holding tanks and the restaurant is open for business as usual."

Staff were able to scoop up the fish in a net and relocate them as the water level in the tank plummeted.

There were no reports of injuries but diners had to be moved from their tables to other sections of the dinosaur-themed restaurant.
