FedEx driver loses control of delivery van

Security camera vision has captured the moment an unlucky deliveryman in the US trying to stop his out-of-control van.

The FedEx driver was completing a delivery in the small city of Columbia in Tennessee when his parked van began rolling down the street, without him in it.

Footage from a nearby resident's security camera shows the driver chase after the van and open the door but to no avail.

Dogs on the neighbouring property can be seen watching the incident unfold as the driver loses the vehicle, which careers down the street before coming into contact with a tree and stopping against a fence.

A spokesperson for FedEx told Mashable no-one was injured in the incident.

"While the video shows an unfortunate situation for the driver, safety is our top priority, and we are relieved no one was hurt," the representative said.
