Watch this video and you'll understand why a US man has been dubbed "Mr Snow White".

Matthew Lee Chegwidden from Divide, Colorado, calls for his animal friends to join him for breakfast — and he's swarmed by deer keen to feast on what's in his bucket.

"Single file — don't rush. Don't hit anybody," Chegwidden tells the herd of deer as they scramble up the snow-covered slope to his house.

One of the deer that's snuck up behind Chegwidden before the rest of the herd is cheerfully greeted as "Lumpy".

If Chegwidden seems well-acquainted with the deer, that's because they've paid him a daily visit for a snack for several months.

"My buddies seem to like waking me up by running around on my deck in the morning. But I enjoy seeing them every day," he posted to his Facebook profile in April.

It's not just deer that are attracted to Chegwidden: According to Facebook, he's also been visited by friendly foxes and bears.
