Coffee guru killed by coffee machine

In a sad coincidence, a US coffee expert has died after being crushed to death by a coffee machine.
Chicago-based coffee guru Jim Karr, 48, was setting up a large coffee machine when he lost his balance.
According to the police report, Karr grabbed the machine in an attempt to steady himself, but it fell on top of him.
Paramedics responding to the incident said Karr suffered head and chest injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
Karr was a respected member of the Chicago's coffee community and worked for several years as the director of brewing technology at Intelligenstia Coffee.
Chicago area coffee shop Dark Matter Coffee announced Kerr's death on Facebook, calling him a "legend".
"Jim will be missed dearly, but his work will forever be lived out by the people he has touched in his life," they said
