Trucking hell: Driver and passenger left dangling as cab plunges over edge of US overpass

A US truck driver and his passenger must have had the fright of their lives after the cab of their vehicle crashed over an overpass barrier and was left danging over the edge today.

Luckily, the trailer remained on the highway but the pair in the cab were still trapped as the truck began leaking fuel down the highway.

Officials said both driver and passenger had made it out safely, while Hazmat crews were able to clean up the spilled fuel.

Emergency crews were also able to pull the cab back before it fell onto the road below.
