An adult film actress who was arrested at an airport in the US state of Washington will face court after being charged with allegedly hiring a hitman to kill someone.
Katrina L. Danforth, who is known by her stage name ‘Lynn Pleasant’, was arrested at the Spokane International Airport, east of Seattle, yesterday by federal police following a court order, according to the Spokesman Review.
The 31-year-old faces changes on five counts for allegedly commissioning a “murder for hire” scheme across US state borders.
The adult actress is accused of using a telephone and mail to hire the hitman so that the victim, identified only as “R.H.” could be murdered in Idaho, US District Court documents claimed.
It is believed the victim has not been harmed.
Danforth now faces a maximum 10 years in jail, along with a $250,000 fine for each crime count if she if found guilty.
She was remanded in police custody at a court hearing yesterday because she was described as “a serious risk of flight and danger to the community” and is today expected to reappear today for another bail hearing.
