US dad takes down man caught sexting his underage daughter
A US dad who set up a trap to catch a man sexting his underage daughter says he had to do "what was right as a father".
The Oklahoma man was filmed rushing the 33-year-old -predator, who had shown up in his backyard after swapping inappropriate texts with his 15-year-old daughter.
The father, who wishes to remain anonymous, uncovered the illegal relationship after installing the FamilyTime app on his daughter's phone. The app allows parents to track their children's online activity.
"He had planned everything with her and he was ready and we were too," the father, who has three daughters, told US news channel KOCO.
CCTV footage from outside the father's home on June 22 shows the stranger walk into the yard towards a tent before peering in. In the seconds that followed, the father and a number of male relatives took action.
"As he walked in and looked in the tent my first nephew jumped out, my cousin jumped out after that and I came with the zip-ties," the dad said.
"So the moment he entered my yard, I had to do what was right as a father."
