US couple caught arguing on kiss cam

Basketball fans in Chicago were treated to an extra show on Saturday night after a couple were caught arguing on kiss cam.

The kiss cam itself appears to have sparked the argument after the camera zoomed in on the Celtics fans at the United Center with the man seemingly oblivious while he speaks on his phone.

The outraged woman slaps her partner to get his attention but the man still seems to have no clue and begins arguing with her for interrupting his call.

Chicago mascot Benny the Bull dashes in, picks the woman up and whisks her away.

The dashing manoeuvre delighted to crowd, with the stadium erupting in applause.

It is yet not known whether the incident was staged or a marketing stunt.
