Russia votes down criminal tribunal over MH17

Russia has voted against a criminal tribunal to hold those responsible for shooting down flight MH17 to account.

There were 11 votes in support, one against and three chose to abstain.

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop had been vocal in her support for the criminal tribunal.
