Ultrasound appears to show unborn baby giving parents the peace sign

Expecting parents in the US got a fun surprise when they went for their latest ultrasound last month.

Janine Godfrey and her husband Ryan had a good laugh when their ultra sound technician showed them their unborn child appeared to be making the peace sign with his hand.

The couple, from Milton, Massachusetts, requested a picture of the moment and their good-humoured technician obliged, writing ‘peace’ in the corner of picture.

The image was later shared on Facebook by Ryan’s brother-in-law, WBZ-TV anchor David Wade.

“He comes in peace,” he wrote.

Soon the hashtag #PeaceBaby began circulating Twitter alongside the image.
