Floor collapses at student party

A post-exams party in England was brought to a crashing halt after the floor collapsed underneath hundreds of celebrating students.
About 100 dancing students were plumbed into the basement after the living room floor of the Fallowfield, Manchester rental caved in under the weight yesterday early morning, Metro reports.
Video shot moments after the collapse shows the guests, some waist-deep in the floor, screaming in a cloud of dust.

No one was seriously injured in the fall, though some students who suffered cuts and bruises were treated by paramedics at the scene.
It is believed rotting timber caused the floorboards to collapse.
