Twitter users react to unverified reports of compromising information on Donald Trump

Social media users have lampooned unverified reports of compromising information on President-elect Donald Trump, including allegations he paid for prostitutes to perform crude acts in Russia.

The unverified classified documents purported to come from Russian intelligence agencies were published by Buzzfeed overnight, despite reportedly being widely known among journalists and politicians for some time, according to Buzzfeed.

The 35-page unverified report claims Mr Trump was involved in alleged “perversions” with prostitutes during a 2013 visit to Moscow, including paying them to perform a crude act on the bed on which Barack Obama and his wife had once slept on.

The report, which contains spelling errors and factual inconsistencies, has been slammed by the upcoming president as “a total political witchhunt”.
