Tourist pulls innocent woman’s hair at Bangkok McDonald’s

A tourist has said she was “drunk and angry” when she was filmed violently attacking an innocent woman at Bangkok McDonald’s, local media reports.

Video shared to Facebook by Royal Thai Police shows Italian national Laura Predosa, wearing a black top, ordering food at the store counter on Saturday.

Ms Predosa, 29, reportedly got into a fight with her friends at the counter, and at one point can be seen raising a hand at one member of her group.

About a minute later, the woman walks towards the exit door, before turning around and grabbing a random woman’s hair and pulling her to the ground.

Ms Predosa then forcefully kicks her victim in the head, before walking off.

The victim’s friend said the innocent woman had “nothing to do with the Italian woman,” according to local news source Coconuts Bangkok.

Ms Predosa reportedly told investigators she was “drunk and angry” at her victim because she was “displaying a negative attitude towards her physically and verbally”.

Royal Thai Police have since released a statement confirming Ms Predosa has been charged with assault over the incident, which unfolded about 3am.

She could now face up to a month in prison or a fine of A$381, according to Coconuts Bangkok.

The victim is believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
