Russian driver sees tornado blow away garage

An unlucky Russian motorist saw their garage torn apart by a deadly tornado only moments after pulling out and driving directly into the danger.

As the driver reverses out of a neat and orderly garage the wind howls and the rain falls heavily on the windshield.

Seconds later the inclement weather turns even worse with strong winds whipped up by the tornado ripping up the roof of a nearby house and sending debris flying across the narrow dirt road.

As the driver turns the car back towards the garage the hapless motorist sees the tiny wooden structure completely levelled by the wind, leaving nowhere to hide.

The terrifying incident occurred on August 29 in the Krasnokamsky district of Russia's Bashkortostan Republic and was captured on dashcam.

The date displayed in the corner of the video is not correct.

At least two people were killed in the natural disaster, which also injured a up to 40 victims and damaged more than 470 houses.
