Tool thief no match for Dallas tradies

A group of workers in Dallas have shown a thief why you should never steal from a tradie.

Video shows the thief stopping his car in the middle of a road and running to snatch a tool from a construction site before hightailing it back to his car.

Less than a second later four tradies in high vis vests can be seen sprinting after the thief, with one leaping onto the hood of the getaway car.

The car drives off with the worker still on the hood.

Undeterred, another tradie hops into his ute and follows in hot pursuit.

A minute later both men drive past the camera the other way, and the video ends with the ute driver ramming the thief’s car from behind, forcing him to stop.

The video was posted to YouTube on Friday and has already been viewed more than 600,000 times.

It is not known if any charges have been laid over the incident.
