Chicago shooting: Three students shot outside high school

Three students have been shot by a person 'in a blue mask' outside a high school in Chicago’s South Side on Monday afternoon (local time).
The three teenage victims, one who is believed critical, have been taken to University of Chicago Hospital, CBS reports.
Early reports from the scene suggest the students, aged 16, 17 and 18, were shot just after school had finished for the day.
The principal of Chatham Academy High School, located at 9034 South Langley, confirmed two students rushed back inside the school after they were shot.
A third student was found in an alleyway, according to CBS.
One witness told ABC the shooter had been wearing a blue mask.
The shooter remains at large. Police have not confirmed a motive for the incident.
The city of Chicago has one of the worst gun crime rates in the US.
