Three missing British schoolgirls pictured crossing border into ISIL-held Syria

New footage has emerged of three missing British schoolgirls apparently being smuggled over the Turkish-Syrian border to join up with ISIL extremists.

The video, released by Turkish network A-Haber, is believed to have been recorded by a foreign spy who was arrested yesterday after allegedly helping the three girls cross the border.

Amira Abas and Shamima Begum, both 15, and Kadiza Sultana, 16, attend Bethnal Green Academy in East London and have been missing since February 17.

The three girls flew to Istanbul from Gatwick airport after paying for tickets with cash.

It is believed they have entered Syria to join ISIL extremists.

CCTV already released show the schoolgirls waiting at a bus station in Istanbul the day they arrived.

It is believed they then travelled to somewhere near the border of Turkey and Syria.

In the video the girls can be heard talking about fake Syrian passports before being taken to meet the spy, named by Turkish media as Muhammed Al Rashad.

Al Rashad, who speaks both English and Arabic in the video, can reportedly be heard telling the girls "come on sisters ... don't forget anything. You will be there in an hour".

He also warns the girls to "get your luggage from the bag, do not forget anything"

He allegedly delivered the girls to ISIS but was arrested upon his return to Turkey.
