Three dead, 18 injured after motorcycle bomb explodes at market
Authorities have confirmed three people have died and at least 18 have been wounded after a motorcycle bomb has exploded at a market in Yala, in southern Thailand.
“The criminals put a bomb in a motorcycle, and placed it next to a market cart,” Internal Security Operations Common (ISOC) spokesman Pramote Pom-in said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which unfolded about 1pm (AEST).

The mostly Muslim provinces of Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat in the country’s far south are home to a long-running insurgency by ethnic Malay Muslims.
The group is fighting for autonomy, in which more than 6000 people have been killed since 2004.
