Three arrested over alleged kidnapping in Sydney

Three people have been arrested over an alleged kidnapping in south-west Sydney on the weekend.

Police were told yesterday that a 42-year-old man had been kidnapped from a Riverwood home at about 8 am that morning.

A group of unknown people had broken into the home before attacking the man and then leaving the scene, the report to police alleged.

Police established a crime scene at the home and, at about 8pm yesterday, attended a home on Susan Street in Auburn.

They allegedly found the 42-year-old man being attacked by a woman before she and two other men fled the scene.

After chasing on foot, police arrested a 44-year-old woman, and two men aged 28 and 33.

The 42-year-old man was taken to hospital.

Police seized a Mitsubishi SUV that allegedly contained cable ties and a baton.
