‘The Simpsons’ marks 600th episode with Halloween special

One of the world's most popular shows, The Simpsons, has marked another milestone with its 600th episode.

It was an extra special treat for fans, with the episode doubling as the annual much-loved Halloween special.

This year's “Treehouse of Horrors” was a parody of blockbuster films The Hunger Games and Kingsman.

In its 28th season, the animated series is chasing Gunsmoke's record of 635 shows.

Believe it or not, the show premiered in 1989, a fact that has some viewers feeling a little old... D'oh!
