The perfect tree fell captured on camera

Perfection comes in many guises – but never has it appeared in the form of a lumberjack.

That is, until now.

In video uploaded to the Facebook page 'Scott's Tree Service' - two men are seen navigating around the base of a tall tree which sits in the narrow gap between two homes.

Slowly and methodically the men take a chainsaw to the tree's base and begin sawing into it - moving around and around - careful not to chop into one place too much.

Finally, after several minutes, one of the men gives the tree one last knock and it comes falling down – landing neatly between the two houses with little space to spare.

The video's description assures viewers that "this is not a lucky shot".

"This had been planned and the ground prepared out there in the distance so the tree would not fish tail or twist when it hit the ground," the description reads.

"The tree was perfectly straight and limb balanced. The falling cuts were gunned to the exact spot half way between the buildings. An appropriate face cut was used."
