Woman literally bowled over by clumsy wedding proposal

A US man’s first act after proposing to his new fiancée was to fall drunkenly on top of her before pulling her to the ground with a sickening thump.   

After climbing on stage at a low-key Mardi Gras event in Texas last week the unnamed man declared his affection for his future bride, saying "I sure do love the s--- out of you," before pointing at his wife so that everyone knows who he's talking about.

While he defies the small crowd's urging to get on one knee, he does kneel at the edge of the state to kiss his now- fiancée.

Unfortunately, gravity intervenes, and the man, his full beer, and his future wife tumble to the ground in a giggling inebriated pile.

It's not how most people propose marriage, but we hope they'll be very happy together.
